Redesigning Snapchat UI

Snapchat shaped how we share visually, but its launch-into-camera design no longer fits today’s privacy-conscious world. Users often feel exposed, and accidental oversharing is a real risk.My redesign introduces a Home hub as the entry point, putting control back in users’ hands while keeping the camera just one tap away. I modernized navigation with a bottom nav bar, preserved swipe gestures for power users, and refreshed the visual language using playful yet clean “Liquid Glass” aesthetics.The result is an experience that keeps Snapchat fun and spontaneous, but makes sharing intentional, safe, and intuitive, bringing the app in line with 2025 user expectations.
