Urgência Agora is an iOS app I built with Claude (Anthropic's AI) as my pair programmer over 3 weeks, with zero prior Swift or Xcode experience. I started by researching the official SNS 24 app and studying the public hospital data made available by the Portuguese National Health Service. I'm truly grateful to SNS 24 for making this data public, it's a testament to their commitment to Portuguese public health. I designed the UI in Figma, then translated it into a fully functional native iOS app with Claude guiding every step of the way. Honestly, working with Claude was one of the best experiences I've had building something. Patient, precise, and always one step ahead. The app shows real-time SNS emergency room wait times, with live hospital rankings, Manchester triage breakdown, an AI health assistant called Lusia, favourites, bilingual support and Apple Maps directions. Built from zero to a fully functional app in 3 weeks.
